We’re always rooting for Ciara. We feel like she’s the little engine that could. We want her to fall in love with a loyal man who will spoil and protect her. We’re just not convinced Russell is that man. Wendy Williams ain’t buying it either (she said as much on her show) – but if Cici is happy with her new boo thang, then we… hope for the best too.
After weeks of speculation, Ciara has officially confirmed that she and Seattle Seahawk quarterback Russell Wilson are boo’d-up. She confirmed the relationship during a recent radio interview.
“Now there are rumors that are going around that you are dating Seattle quarterback, Russell Wilson? Is the timing now to let that be known?” she was asked by KSFM Radio.
“You know, I can proudly say ‘That is my man!’” Cici giddily responded.
Last month it was announced that Ciara signed on to front the forthcoming Fall-Winter 2015 ads for Roberto Cavalli.
The stylish songstress told Style that she managed to snag the gig by impressing Cavalli with her marvelous dance floor charm:
“I had a marvelous night dancing with Mr. Cavalli last fall in Dubai, and now my dream of being in one of their campaigns has come true.”
She continued, “I am so honored to be the face of the current campaign for Roberto Cavalli. I grew up truly admiring the beautiful collections and dreaming of wearing them. I am excited that also now my friend Peter Dundas will be at the creative helm, and I look forward to his creations.”
If you haven’t been following Wilson on social media, he spends every Tuesday visiting kids at Seattle’s Children’s Hospital.
For his most recent visit to the hospital, Wilson brought along Ciara. The Grammy-winner and her beau spent the day taking pictures with kids at the hospital.
A spokesperson posted a special thank-you note to the couple on the hospital’s Instagram account:
