Octavia Spencer isn’t beating herself up about not having kids or a husband. The 43-year-old actress says she has no regrets!
During a recent roundtable chat for The Hollywood Reporter’s actresses issue, the Academy Award winner said her eggs are “past their expiration date”, but she’s “fine” with her decision to focus on her career and not starting a family.
“I should be married and have 19 kids,” the Fruitvale Station star revealed. “And now I’m thinking my eggs are dying on the shelf. They’re going to go past their expiration date.”
“But it’s what I chose,” she added, “so I’m fine with that decision.”
Octavia graces the cover of THR’s annual ‘Actress Roundtable’ issue with Oprah Winfrey (Lee Daniels’ The Butler), Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave), Amy Adams (American Hustle), Emma Thompson (Saving Mr. Banks) and Julia Roberts (August: Osage County).
