The number of daily COVID-19 cases in St. Louis has tripled since the start of December, a trend the city’s health director calls “alarming.”

Washington University in St. Louis is the latest to experience racism on its campus, this time in the form of vandalism on a prominent Black History mural that was defaced with symbolism of white supremacy.

Billed as the "Black HerStory Initiative," The Griot Museum will use grant money received as part of The Monument Lab Re:Generation team to to create awareness on how much Black women have helped build the area with help from local artists and activists.

Missouri Congresswoman Cori Bush shifted her attention to the pardon of Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the white St. Louis couple who waved firearms at Black Lives Matter protesters last summer from their front lawn, as they marched through the gated community toward a rally outside the home of Mayor Lyda Krewson.

An ex-St. Louis police officer was found guilty for his part in the brutal beating of an undercover Black officer, sparked by a protest over the acquittal of police officer Jason Stockley for the 2017 shooting death of 24-year-old Black man Anthony Lamar Smith.
