Jay-Z and his social justice reform initiative Team ROC have directed their efforts to putting major pressure on the Department of Justice to take a seriously look into the corruption going on within the Kansas City Police Department. 

An organization run by rapper Jay-Z has facilitated donations totaling $1 million for the local innocence project to investigate wrongful convictions in Wyandotte County.
