A Chicago mother and son facing conviction for a shooting at a hot dog stand are off the hook after prosecutors chose to drop charges.

Thankfully it looks like retired boxing champ Mike Tyson dodged a hit from the San Mateo County district attorney after charges were officially dropped in his viral JetBlue airplane brawl last month.

After months of defending his reputation following sex assault allegations out of Las Vegas last November, R&B sensation Trey Songz can finally breathe a sigh of relief for now after the charges made against him were officially dropped by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Last summer, Jared Benjamin Lafer drove his SUV through a small group of Black Lives Matter protesters in Johnson City, Tennessee, and then sped away. The vile incident left one victim with a concussion, brain bleed, and two broken legs — but a Tennessee grand jury said Lafer committed no crime. 

While the vile act of spitting on someone is usually punishable by law, for some reason a white woman who recently did it with clear racist intentions towards a Black woman was let off the hook by Hartford Superior Court after they felt "special probation" would be better than charging her with a hate crime.
