The Black-ish star stunned fans by embodying fantasy, whimsy, and avant-garde style at Marc Jacobs’ February 2025 New York Fashion Week (NYFW) show. Jacobs, as always, delivered a collection that was all about self-expression and sartorial storytelling. Known for marching to the beat of his own stylish drum, he kicked off NYFW his way, opting for an off-calendar show to drum up excitement before the official chaos of Fashion Week began.1. We are so here for this oversized but cropped brown leather jacket. While its paired here with a voluminous, curved plaid skirt, it could easily go with jeans or a long pleated skirt for a dramatic lewk. The overall aesthetic is futuristic with a nod to classic tailoring, blending unconventional shapes with traditional materials.
2. It's Giving Polly Pocket Jackie O

We’re loving this fresh take on Jackie-O minimal, but maximalist fashion. The models sashayed down the catwalk in a sleek black sleeveless dress with a structured, avant-garde silhouette. The dress features rounded, bubble-like details at the hem. The look is completed with whimsy makeup and curved platforms.
3. What Another Piece In Olive Oil's Closet Looks Like

If we were to spend time in Olive Oil’s closet, we feel like this garment would be hanging there. For this bold look, Marc Jacobs’ designed a sculptural, asymmetrical mini dress in a striking lavender hue and plush, fur-like fabric. The skirt brings in the bubble realness we see carried throughout the show.

7. The Re-imagined Trench Coat

This runway look features another oversized, avant-garde puffer coat, but this time in an earthy, tan tone. It’s giving futuristic, reimagined trench coat. The voluminous silhouette includes dramatically puffed shoulders, an ultra-wide collar, and oversized buttons. The belt details add interest – bringing the eye from the volume of the jacket to the cinched in waist.
