1. Billie Eilish – Birds Of A Feather
2.

- Billie had a refreshing return to tempo this summer with this breezy summer hit. A leading track from her third studio album, the song reached a fever pitch after a poignant performance at the summer games closing ceremony – quickly rising to #1 on Spotify’s global charts with over 855M streams and counting.
- Following Billie Eilish’s unforgettable performance at the summer games closing ceremonies, “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” was streamed more than 9M times on Spotify globally on August 12th.
3. Chappell Roan – HOT TO GO!
4.

- In many ways, it has been the summer of Chappell Roan, and “HOT TO GO!” has raised its hand as the song of summer festivals. The song saw a midsummer surge following Chappell’s live performances at Gov Ball and Lollapalooza, and became one of Spotify’s first-ever “wildcards” for the Songs of Summer 2024 midsummer update.
- The song saw its biggest spike of the summer on June 10th (globally), the day after her Gov Ball set in New York City.
5. Kendrick Lamar – Not Like Us
6.

- This razor sharp track transcended the rap beef that brought it to life and became an anthem for the summer. It drove massive surges for Kendrick Lamar’s entire catalog on Spotify immediately following its release.
- “Not Like Us” saw its biggest spike of the summer on June 20th (both globally and US) – the day after Kendrick’s highly-attended Juneteenth concert in Los Angeles.

7. Sabrina Carpenter – Espresso
8.

- When “Espresso” came out, it immediately felt like the song of the summer before the season even started – with a beach-themed music video to match. The catchy chorus and idiosyncratic lyrics (“that’s that me espresso!”) held staying power throughout the length of the summer.
- Since June, the song has spent 20 days at #1 on Spotify’s global charts – topping 25 regional charts in countries like Australia, Malaysia, Jordan and Singapore.
9. Shaboozey – A Bar Song (Tipsy)
10.

- With “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”, Shaboozey had an immediate hit – bound to become a timeless summer anthem. Based on a familiar, nostalgic hit from the early aughts, this infectious singalong song crossed borders and topped charts around the world.
- Since June, the song has hit #1 on Spotify’s Charts in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Norway, Sweden and the US and has been #1 on Billboard for six weeks so far. It reached #1 on Spotify’s US Chart for the first time on July 4th, proving it to be the perfect summer holiday anthem.
