Reflecting on Prince’s Legendary Performances & Music Videos
Born on June 7, 1958, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Prince Rogers Nelson came into the world destined for greatness. With both parents deeply rooted in music, it was no surprise that Prince discovered his own musical talent early on. What no one could predict, however, was just how profoundly this gifted young man would transform the music industry forever.
The world was left in mourning in 2016 when Prince passed away at the age of 57 in his home due to an accidental Fentanyl overdose. The pain and injuries sustained from countless powerful performances had led him to use the drug. Despite this heartbreaking loss, Prince’s influence on music and culture remains immeasurable.
Today, we celebrate Prince by revisiting some of his most unforgettable performances and trailblazing music videos.
