Pinky Cole & Derrick Hayes Tie The Knot In Atlanta [Gallery]

They say one of the ways to someone’s heart is through their stomach and that was evidently true this past weekend in Atlanta. Slutty Vegan Founder and CEO Pinky Cole and Big Dave’s Cheesesteak CEO Derrick Hayes tied the know this past Saturday (June 10) at the St. Regis Hotel. The couple first met for a business meeting on June 8th, 2020 at Sunflower Cafe in Atlanta. After connecting as friends then eventually falling in love, Derrick popped the question on June 2 of last year. Cole and Hayes exchanged vows in front of 300 guests including their children D Ella and Derrick Hayes Jr (Derrick’s daughters Denver and Dallas were also in attendance). The nuptials began with gospel musician Tasha Cobbs Leonard kicking off the ceremony with a praise and worship melody. Derrick watched in his custom mauve Miguel Wilson tux as Pinky walked down the aisle in a custom “masterpiece” created by premium lifestyle brand Milano di Rouge to Cobbs Leonard’s special rendition of “Looks Like We Made It.” The two were married by hip-hop icon Montell Jordan and danced the night away during the reception, catered by Slutty Vegan and Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks, to a personalized rendition of “This Is How We Do It”. Doug E. Fresh also took the mic during the reception to congratulate the newlyweds and perform for the couple. Other celebrities in attendance included Jeezy & Jeannie Mai, DJ D Nice, Richelieu Dennis, Caroline Wanga (President of Essence Magazine), Naturi Naughton, and more. Congrats to the newlyweds!
