I have been listening to your show ever since I was in elementary school. My mom would listen while I got ready and in the car on the way to school…and i am still listening.
She works in childcare and does so much for so many people. Her home is always open to anyone in need – right now she is caring for two of her neices – ages 8 & 11.
My mom loves to sing, in fact, she is president of the church choir. She also helps with the food pantry and feeding the homeless.
She was diagnosed with Lupus at age 5 – then later with Fibromyalgia, which is why she has had to undergo total hip replacement surgery not once, but twice on the same hip and she is only 44!
in her free time she likes to rest that hip but she is a serious sports mom. My little brother LaQuan is 14…He plays football, basketball, baseball and runs track. Needless to say, she’s his number one fan and makes sure he gets to every event so she can cheer him on.
If my mom is selected as your Thursday morning mom, I know she would start by replacing that old flip phone of hers, maybe go to the spa and get some pampering on that hip of hers, then maybe do a little shopping for herself.
