Tami Roman Describes Her Funny As Story Telling

When you think of Tami Roman, what comes to mind? The Real World: Los Angeles or Basketball Wives comes to mind. Well now Roman is adding comedy to her long list of activities and she can’t wait to share.

“I don’t know. I started on Instagram doing something called Bonnet Chronicles and people started to fall in love with that character,” explained Roman.

She considers herself to be more of a storyteller than an actual comedian through the stories she shares.

“I’m a story-teller you know, so I talk about my relationship with my guy Reggie who is 17 years younger than me,” explained  Roman. “You know just telling stories about my life. It’s really about getting to know me in a comical way.”

And she was very careful to leave the art of comedy to the professionals she respects who’ve been in the business for so long.

“I don’t consider myself a comedian because I feel like it’s disrespectful to all the comedians out there. I consider myself to be a personality that can get up there, tell my story, and make you laugh.”

Tami Roman is performing at Caroline’s Broadway Mother’s Day weekend.
