We all love the 1995 hit This Is How We Do It by Montell Jordan! Over the years he’s lent his musical genius to the industry but now he’s written a book about making marriage work through the tough times called This Is How We Do It! Making Your Marriage A Masterpeace.
“Get an opportunity to see marriage and God’s work in people’s lives,” expressed Jordan. “The music business was good to me but at the same time I got to a crossroads where I had to basically choose.”
He continued to explain that to his wife and him their marriage was more important than what people thought and that it was greater than what their parents went through with divorce.
“We just got to a point of where are we going to continue with the DNA of our family or it stops with us,” said Jordan. “We set the bar from here on out…we’re going to be married happily forever.”
