Is Jay Ellis Returning To ‘Insecure’ For Season Three?

Everyone is wondering whether Jay Ellis is coming back to Insecure and they’re worried.
Ellis who plays Lawrence on the popular HBO show says that when it comes to the show and storylines that he’s been “out of the loop,” according to Essence.
If he’s saying that about season three, then there’s a real fear about Ellis not coming back onto the show. During an interview with Angie Martinez of The Angie Martinez Show, Ellis revealed that he hadn’t filmed one scene for the new season.
“I’m a little bit out of it. I’m not really…they’ve been filming for the last six or seven weeks or something like that,” said Ellis.
The end of the second season showed Ellis and Rae’s character going off to try other relationships. “I don’t know if there is a relationship. There was closure at the end. There was like full closure,” explained Ellis.
