Black Woman Gets Attacked By A Pit Bull On The Subway

New York City police are investigating an incident after a video of a Black woman being bit by a pit bull went viral on the internet.

In the video, passengers can be seen trying to help a woman get her foot out of the mouth of the pit bull as its owner watched according to BET.

Before the incident escalated, witnesses say that the woman asked the man to move his dog away from her on several occasions before the owner hit her.

She hit him back and which caused the dog to lash out at the woman by catching her foot in its mouth. According to the MTA, unless a dog is a service dog, all dogs must be kept in containers when traveling on the subway.
