Meanwhile, another birthday party is in the making and this one is for the matriarch of the family – Ms. E. Although Tamar hasn’t spoken to her mother or sisters since the whole TMZ interview hit the internet, she is on board to help plan the party but, thus far, she’s only talking to Toni to make it happen.
Despite the ongoing drama and disconnect between the sisters, Traci still finds it in her heart to reach out to Tamar. She finds out that she’s filming a movie nearby and decides to show up to the set to see her. While in the parking lot waiting for Tamar’s arrival, Traci spots her sitting in her car and is left with the cheap face when Tamar starts driving right on past her like she doesn’t even see her.
The sad part is she absolutely does see her!
Moments later, Traci gets a call from a Braxton Family Values executive producer who tells her that Tamar’s management has informed them that she doesn’t want to continue to film with or even communicate with her family right now.
Fortunately, Traci has other uplifting things going on in her life right now to make her smile.
She is elated to become a grandmother, or as she puts it – a duchess. She’s planning a gender reveal party since she now knows what her son, Kevin, and his expecting girlfriend, Olivia, are having.
Although she’s excited, she’s still slightly disappointed that Kevin is having a baby at such a young age. She shares a teary-eyed moment with Trina as she remembers her tumultuous pregnancy with Kevin, and not being able to fully pursue her dreams of becoming a singer alongside her sisters back in the ‘90s.
Speaking of dreams, Trina is looking to fulfill one of her lifelong ambition to own a boat. She and Traci go shopping for the right boat and she reveals how she’s been taking sailing lessons on the low. Maybe she just liked how it felt to be on a boat with her sisters during one of the past episodes with her ta-tas completely exposed. (Don’t you just love her?!)
