Nowadays, everything is digital and moves away from being able to hold anything in your hand. Singer CeeLo Green feels this way about music because everything is online. He remembers how fun it was finding new music at a record shop.
“That’s how I discovered music looking at interesting album covers,” expressed Green. “I remember having Mother’s Finest. I had that album as a kid. I was a unique Black kid.”
Green has come back with a new song called Brickroad that takes him back to his roots.
” I’m an independent artist again,” explained Green.”Going back to the basics, the song is about the product and the productivity. Just going back to square one and starting all over.”
If there’s one artist that Green would like to have recorded with it would have been Prince. “Unfortunately, he left us but I had spent a lot of time with him but I never got the opportunity to record with him.”
