Lena Waithe Opens Up About Her Wedding Plans With Fiance Alana Mayo

“It’s a little nutty. I’m trying to balance it out, but I’m really grateful,” said Lena Waithe.
The Emmy-winning writer is preparing to for a wedding with her girlfriend Alana Mayo a film production executive according to People.
Waithe is juggling promoting her new movie Ready Player One and her wedding. The theme for her wedding to keep it laid back and simple.
It’s going to be super small, crazy small. It’s almost like an excuse to have fun with our friends,” she said. “We’re anti-stress. We’re trying to make it not a stressful situation, that’s our goal.”
Waithe and Mayo got engaged during Thanksgiving of 2017 and she’s expressed how happy she is to marry the love of her life and what the wedding would be like.
