Rev. Al Sharpton: Why Is A March Against Gun Violence Important?
On Saturday, March 24, 2018, students will head to the state capital to march against gun violence in hopes of putting an end to it. Rev. Al Sharpton reminds us that the issue of gun violence affects all of us and coming together is the solution to get it done.
“Let’s use the lime light to ban assault weapons,” explained Sharpton. “If you can get the ball and score worry later about who made the folly. I think the suffering in our community on the daily basis encourages our young people.”
No matter what the kids are determined to make change in gun control across the country.
“Come snow, come rain they expect more than half a million high schoolers to march this Saturday about the issue of guns,” said Sharpton.
