So much for a year way in prison. Ex-Scandal actor Columbus Short spent 34 days in prison instead of the original 1 year he received for allegedly beating his wife Aida Abramyan.
Page Six reports, the L.A. Sheriff’s Department did not release a statement with a reason Short got off so early. In November 2017, Short pleaded no contest to charge of domestic abuse when he received a sentence of 36 months on probation. That was due to an incident where he knocked a guy out at a bar. He was sentenced to a year in prison.
He started serving his prison sentence on February 13 but was released from jail on March 19. Before then her served a month in jail for violating his probation after he tested positive for cocaine and marijuana. Along with that the court ordered that he spend 6 months in a, “live-in drug treatment program.”
