Comedian Katt Williams has been ordered by a court to pay a former employee money that they say Williams didn’t give them while on tour.
Bossip reports on January 31 the court ordered Williams to pay Courtney Gilmore $55,000. Gilmore sued Williams for supposedly not paying him for the work he did while on tour.
5 years ago a suit was filed by five men who said Williams owed them over $125,000 for work during the 2012-2013 Live Nation tour. Gilmore sued both Williams and Live Nation Entertainment, “in superior court, alleging promissory fraud, breach of contract and unjust enrichment.”
Gilmore received a little over half of his original ask of $80,000 for emceeing the tour.
