2/14/18- While everyone was happy, and rightfully so, and caught up with the show of the Obama’s portraits, Rev. Al Sharpton shined a light on another example of hypocrisy coming from the White House.
“The Attorney General of the United States, Jeff Sessions, went and spoke at the National Sheriffs Association and talked about our Anglo-American heritage in law enforcement,” explained Sharpton. “If there was any doubt how he sees through racial prisms, there could be no doubt after seeing that.”
Sharpton explains how the Anglo-American heritage of law enforcement overlooked slavery and segregation throughout time.
“We have never had in our lifetime an administration as blatantly bias as we have now,” expressed Sharpton. “If we do not organize this year, then we deserve whatever we get.”
