Mariah Carey was able to redeem herself from her 2016 lip sync fail at her New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest performance last year.
However, it seemed like she had to grit her teeth through this year’s performance according to People.com.
During her performance of only two songs, Carey asked for hot tea in between her songs. Kind of impossible but who could blame her?
She wore a shimmering peach colored dress with slits on the side topped with a white fur coat. She may have had the coat on but she was all exposed to the – 7-degree weather in New York City.
No worries because she got her tea after her performance and had to post a picture to let the fans know she didn’t freeze over!
