These days, getting a referral from the Internet is ten times more effective than getting a reference from your old boss. A South Sudanese student name Anok Yai has gone viral after slaying Howard University’s homecoming with her Black girl magic.

The 19-year-old sophomore studying biochemistry at Plymouth State University told reporters, “A friend of mine and I decided to travel to Washington, D.C., to attend Howard University’s Homecoming. After Yardfest ended, I began walking toward the dorms, when a photographer that goes by the name Steve ‘theSUNK’ Hall randomly started taking photos of me. While he was taking down my information, he said, ‘Today was a good day, and a couple of these photos have the potential to go viral.’ I didn’t really think much of it, so I just smiled and went on about my day.”

The next day, The Sunk shared her captivating photo and the rest is Internet history. “Before all this happened, I had around 150 followers and was getting about 20 to 30 likes on each photo, and then suddenly, these numbers skyrocketed in a matter of hours,” Yai said.

Thanks to social media,  Anok Yai may be walking runways with Duckie Thot and gracing the cover of some the fashion industry’s top magazines pretty soon:

  1. No Larry, it’s much more easy being stupid of which you are the epitome!!! She is absolutely gorgeous. You really are not hating – – you’re just trying to perpetuate the notion of self-hate and she and the rest of us ain’t buying it. Soooooo, your cave is waiting………

Way too dark, sorry Peeps, but studies have shown, the market does not respond positively to dark complexions. Even our people try to emulate European traits. Not hating, just giving cold hard truths. Sometimes it ain’t easy being the Doctor
