Directed by Dale “Rage” Resteghini (Nicki Minaj, Fall Out Boy, Soulja Boy) and starring actress and TV/radio personality Claudia Jordan (“The Real Housewives of Atlanta”), the video for Push by Kenny Lattimore portrays the song’s storyline about a man realizing his mistake in pushing away a relationship with a good woman.

“The sound doesn’t conform,” explains Lattimore, according to Singer’s Room. “One of the things that I did think about was staying true to myself, and the other was the fact that I remember the eighties well. We wanted to create something contemporary and timeless.”

Best-known for his Grammy-nominated, No. 6 R&B hit “For You,” Lattimore also scored two top 10-charting R&B duet albums with singer Chanté Moore: Things That Lovers Do and the gospel/R&B double-CD Uncovered/Covered. His catalog also includes the 2008 covers album Timeless and the 2016 holiday album A Kenny Lattimore Christmas, which reached No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart.

Lattimore’s upcoming 9th studio album, Vulnerable, available October 13, marks the first release under the partnership between the Lattimore’s Sincere Soul Records and Liger Enterprises. The latter is a full-service global entertainment company launched by music veteran Ron A. Spaulding and Major League Baseball Hall of Fame member Frank Thomas.

Kenny Lattimore is currently touring, performing around the country.
