A man dressed as Spider-Man showed up at Houston’s George R. Brown Emergency Center on Tuesday, where thousands have sought shelter from Hurricane Harvey’s floodwaters.

Spectrum News Austin’s Stef Manisero tweeted footage of a person dressed as Spider-Man handing out stickers to kids throughout the center on Tuesday.

The smiles on the children’s faces say it all. Spidey chatted with the little ones, gave out high-fives and handed out stickers for the kids to wear on their hands.

The kids certainly needed this distraction – their little minds are wondering what’s going on, why aren’t we home, when are we going home, why can’t I have snacks, why do I have to sleep here – – so Thank You, Spider Man for taking the time and effort to bring a little peace to these little minds. God Bless You!!!

AWESOME….kids are also traumatized alone with the adults. Some don’t really think about the kids emotions with so much going on and some are to young to understand whats happening but the can scents their parents emotions.. I remember seeing them interviewing one guy holding his little son and he was just pulling his hair and looking So Scared. The Spider man Angel will help their emotions. GOD BE WITH THEM.
