According to Pix 11 News, an 18-year-old male choked his mother’s ex-boyfriend to death on Monday, in their Bronx apartment, after seeing the man beat his mother in their apartment.
The NYPD arrested Luis Moux and charged him with manslaughter.
43-year-old Stanley Washington, the boyfriend, according to police reports showed up at the apartment at 4:30 am to talk with Moux’s mother. The two soon got into an argument while standing in the hallway.
Washington followed the 37-year-old woman into her house and reportedly beat her. Moux was in his bedroom when he heard the commotion and came out.
Moux began to fight with the man, getting him off his mother before he allegedly choked him to death.
Washington has past history with the law as Pix 11 News reports 26 prior arrests. Of those 26 arrests, two were for domestic violence against Moux’s mother.
Moux has been taken into custody.
