According to police, a 3-year-old Florida boy was found dead inside of a daycare van Monday night. He was left in the van for 11 hours.
Officers were called in after a report of child neglect was made at Little Miracles Academy. When they arrived on scene 3-year-old Myles Hill’s body was found inside the van.
The daycare worker allegedly failed to do a head count after arriving at the daycare at 9 am. Charges are pending according to Police Chief John Mina. He says the daycare worker, “is very distraught and is cooperating with authorities.”
CBS WKMG says Hill’s family dropped him off earlier that day and usually expected him home by 6 pm. However by 8 pm when he didn’t show up, his grandmother became worried and called the police.
