Women Shots And Kills Her Husband For Cheating

Houston Police report that a woman shot and killed her common-law husband when she saw him sitting outside a house with his mistress.

Debra Davis, 49, was allegedly driving on the 9400 block of Cathedral Drive around noon Tuesday when she saw her husband, Rodney Johnson, sitting with the woman.

Davis angrily walked up to and asked what was going on. She then opened fire on Johnson, shooting him in the groin.

According to the Daily Mail Johnson was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Law enforcement is not sure how Davis was alerted to the location of Johnson and his mistress or if the incident was premeditated.

Shortly after the shooting Davis left the scene. She later turned herself into police after a small search. She has now been charged with the murder of Rodney Johnson.
