Keyshia Cole is concerned about her mother’s well-being. The You singer vented on Twitter, recalling an emotional conversation that left her worried.

Frankie’s careless response left Keyshia disturbed and questioning how any parent could react the way Frankie did. Frankie’s struggle with substance abuse had been a looming family problem for years.

Keyshia’s sister Neffee recently appeared on Iyanla: Fix My Life, this may be a time for Keyshia to reach out to the spiritual healer for the sake of her family.

I feel so sorry for Keyshia. I watched her reality show, and watching her mother was a study in addiction. Her mom has so many gifts; intelligent, insightful, and funny, but she is unable to fully use those gifts because of her substance abuse problem. Watching someone you love struggle with addiction for decades, is like watching a slow death. My heart goes out to the family.

Gosh, this kind of breaks my heart for Keyshia, I really feel for her. She keeps trying to help someone who clearly doesn’t want to be helped, and no amount of money will change that, apparently. No one wants to lose a close relative to the streets or to their own crazy a$$ mind, but the thing I have been learning (and I’m learning the hard way), you can’t change anyone’s attitude only your own, ask any 18. y.o.
