Kelly Rowland can now add author to her already lengthy list of accomplishments. WHOA, BABY! A Guide for New Moms Who Feel Overwhelmed and Freaked Out (and Wonder What the #*$& Just Happened). The Grammy award winning singer spoke to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about her biggest WTF moment after giving birth and what she’s learned so far.
“A lot of people and my friends around me didn’t tell me what happened post baby. As a woman you change so much mentally and physically. I remembered looking down at my stomach and it was the color of charcoal. I kept calling my Doctor with so many questions and she was so sweet enough to answer.”
On being a mother to a two-year old:
“He’s busy. He’s bilingual and he’s a really cool kid. I’m just really glad to be his mom.”
