Gucci Mane is ready to share his story…on paper.

The rapper, who wasted no time putting out studio material since his release from prison last year, will release his book “The Autobiography of Gucci Mane” in September via Simon & Schuster.

According to the publisher’s website, the memoir documents “the captivating life of an artist who forged an unlikely path to stardom and personal rebirth.” Gucci began writing the book while behind bars and it follows his story of massive influence and frequent run-ins with the law.

“Every success was followed by setback. Too often, his erratic behavior threatened to end it all. Incarceration, violence, rap beefs, drug addiction. But Gucci Mane has changed, and he’s decided to tell his story,” the publisher’s description states.
