Statement Regarding
Lewis v Wilson, et al, Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. BC645841 On September 11, 2015, only hours before my mother passed away, I learned that the man I planned to build a life with was a convicted felon and con artist whose criminal career spans more than 25 years, with a special skill in swindling women. This man, whose name is Tony Wilson, had been sentenced in 2010 to four years in federal prison for conning investors out of $4 million and was currently out on parole. I learned also that his name wasn’t Tony Wilson—it was Brice Carrington. I learned these things too late and became a victim. I have filed a lawsuit to protect others from becoming victims. “On September 11, 2015, only hours before my mother passed away, I learned that the man I planned to build a life with was a convicted felon and con artist whose criminal career spans more than 25 years, with a special skill in swindling women,” she wrote on Instagram.

“This man, whose name is Tony Wilson, had been sentenced in 2010 to four years in federal prison for conning investors out of $4 million and was currently out on parole. I learned also that his name wasn’t Tony Wilson — it was Brice Carrington,” she explained.

Lewis said that upon further Internet sleuthing, she discovered more about his alleged criminal enterprise.

“By searching online, I learned that Tony Wilson is a convicted felon and con artist. By searching online, I learned that Wilson, as Brice Carrington, had falsely claimed to be a three-time ‘Oscar winner’ in sound design and had paid a jeweler to create fake Academy Award Oscar statues to lure unsuspecting investors for his sound effects business,” she added.

She continued, “Unfortunately, I learned the truth about Tony Wilson only after he conned me into investing more than $50,000 into the exact same sound effects business for which he had plead guilty, for which he had served time, and for which he was currently on parole.”

The actress says she has filed a lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend, as well as his employer, LA Fitness, where she says Wilson still works despite the fact that she made LA Fitness aware of the situation.

“I have worked hard and now feel emotionally capable to take the final step in my healing, which is to protect others,” she wrote.

  1. Older women are targets, both of younger and older men. I am sorry this happened to Ms. Lewis, but it shows it can happen to anyone. Besides, he had the fake statues made, which made it an elaborate con.

Well love love love Jennifer, it happens to the best of us, usually at a younger age, but everybody plays the fool sometimes, no exception to this rule, I aint lying! you live you learn you get a lil egg on your face and keep it pushing. hope she can recoup them coins. 🙂

  3. She thought she was investing in reputable pesron. Someone she could trust. Her only mistake was not finding out thoroughly. Should she be penalized for that? No…not in the least. She is not only looking out for herself but for others too. Jenifer deserves to get her money back and this creep of a con man deserves to pay. I am tired of these con artists always ripping someone off. He is lucky I’m not the judge. Lock his behind up and throw away the key!! As far as Jenifer being desperate…there is no need to be. He was no doubt the desperate one. If you have to lie in order to get what you want…you obvioudly didn’t have much to offer on your own to begin with!

    • It’s not your fault for falling in love but into day age you must do your homework. Run back round check. It’s simple and only a couple of dollars for the good ones. Every women on earth have had heart ache in their life but you brush it off and push through it. Everybody need somebody to love. The right one will come along and when that happens start the research, that’s all. Thanks for looking out by coming out. Now he will not get the chance to do it to other women. God bless you hun. Better now than later

    • I’m quite sure he had a lot to offer and it wasn’t money but I’m quite sure it was the bed work. Lol
That’s what cloud her thinking abilities. Leave those young man alone and get someone your own age. No young man wants to date someone their mom age or no young girl want to be dateing their fathers lol.

I agree with you 100 per cent. She paid for some vitamin D. He got paid and she got what she paid for. At 60 years old I’m sure she knows the game by now. As long as she’s been in the business, she or none of her friends had never heard of this guy. She knew he was suspect.

The fact that she’s black or a woman for that matter are besides the point. some PEOPLE are so desperate theyll ignore red flags… Larry small minded idiots like yourself turn everything into a tool to bash others

      • Why angry. It’s the truth for men and women whom are desperate for love. It takes a fool to learn that love don’t love nobody. Lol

All I have to say is, if you want to make God laugh tell him your plan. In my early 20s I got my feelings hurt and swore off men forever, wanted nothing to do with those a-holes. Then this wise old lady told me, keep living and you will change your mind, not all men are bad. Well, the jury is still out on that LOL! jk, I am so glad that at this point in my life, I’m not looking for a good man (I found one 20 years ago, I’m very grateful and appreciative ), I know they are out there somewhere, mostly already married, but I could pretty much hang up finding one at my age, and Jenifter is a lot older than me.

  5. Y’all ladies stop falling in love with these fitness guru. And during your workouts stop rattling your mouth telling them all your personal problems and business. Once in bed with you, you’re about to be con. Lol and oh yeah that goes for the men in the ministry too. Lol again.
