Model Imaan Hammam is quickly becoming a shining star in the world of beauty, as she crushes barriers against diversity. The 21-year-old is proud of her Egyptian-Moroccan heritage and isn’t shy to let anyone know. “Sometimes people call me Middle Eastern, and I’m like, No, I’m Black…I am proud of my culture, proud of who made me, proud to be here.

Imaan recently served her Black beauty in the latest edition of British Vogue and it was nothing short of stunning! The February spread features the Dutch-based model in all her natural glory, from the tip of her head and her bouncy curls to the soles of her feet. She’s featured with Taylor Hill and Anna Ewers and all the ladies are stunning in metallics.

Here she is captured in a heart-shaped black top with jeans that sit sexily on her waist.

Other shots feature Imaan wearing a range of outfits, photography by Patrick Demarchelier.

Part of a group cover and a group editorial, for the world-famous magazine, Imaan definitely stands out, as a wide array of simple colors are used to bring out her African features. Vogue makes sure to capture all of Imaan and her beauty, serving readers a wonderful display of diversity and its proper and growing place in the modeling industry.

you can’t be proud of something that you were born with, skin color is the lowest form of diversity. Your accomplishments and character, your insides are what make you, not your skin color.
