Now that Queen Latifah is part of the Fox family, the network is teaming her with Snoop Dogg to co-host its third annual New Year’s Eve countdown special from Pitbull.

“Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution” will broadcast live from Miami’s Bayfront Park on Saturday, Dec. 31 (11 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. ET live CT/MT/PT tape-delayed). Performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Last year, Mr. 305 was joined by Puff Daddy and the Family, “Empire” stars Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray, hit artists Shawn Mendes, Pia Mia, Camila Cabello and others.

Latifah – a musician, television and film actress, author, entrepreneur and producer – was most recently featured as “The Wiz” in NBC’s production of “The Wiz Live!” Earlier this year, she starred as blues legend Bessie Smith in the Emmy Award-winning made-for-cable movie “Bessie,” on which she also served as an executive producer.

On Dec. 14, Latifah will premiere in Lee Daniels’ new musical drama “Star” on Fox.
