WASHINGTON (AP) — Puff Daddy is donating $1 million to Howard University, where he once was a student.

The rapper and music mogul, whose real name is Sean Combs, made the announcement alongside Howard President Wayne Frederick at his Bad Boy Records reunion tour show Thursday night in Washington, D.C., where the historically black college is located.

Howard says the money will go toward creating a Sean Combs Scholarship Fund, which will award money to undergraduate business majors with a financial need. The school also says recipients will get an internship with one of Combs’ companies and mentoring through Combs Enterprises.

Combs spent two years at Howard before dropping out in 1990. He received an honorary doctorate and served as commencement speaker in 2014.

Too Little Too Late and Better Late Than Never

This white guy who was just worked as a librarian all his lifed saved and invested his money and gave $4 Million to the college he went to.

So considering the fact that Diddy got his start promoting shows at Howard in 1989 and the fact that his net worth is close to $800 Million…..

Donating $1 Million for scholarships is better than nothing but just $1 Million at a university that costs $25,000 per year not counting housing costs in DC seems very, very, very ….weak.

Remember Diddy so strongly supports education that he spent $50,000 years back on a fur coat for his 8 year old son and $350,000 on sports car for the son’s birthday present when he turned 16, but then wanted his son to get a FREE ride education at UCLA on a football scholarship.
