Apollo Nida, estranged husband of Phaedra Parks from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” has reportedly been making trouble in federal prison. According to sources, Apollo thinks he’s entitled to call the shots on his cell block because he’s a reality TV star. He’s reportedly bullying his fellow prisoners at New Jersey’s Fort Dix correctional institution, and not showing them any respect or courtesy.
thejasminebrand.com reports that in one instance, Nida was accused of refusing to wait in line for the microwave, and instead cut in front of the other men during mealtime. Another day at recreation, he interrupted a pool session in order to start his own game.
You recall that Nida is serving time for wire and bank fraud after he allegedly laundered $2 million as part of a purported scam. He started serving an eight-year prison sentence in September of 2014. An insider snitch said: “Apollo thinks he’s better than everyone else because he’s famous. Obviously, his behavior doesn’t win him any friends.”
Apollo’s attitude problem also extends to his estranged wife, Phaedra. The former couple share two sons together, and they have feuded on social media since his incarceration. Yes, Apollo has access to his Twitter account from behind bars. You may recall when he used it to blast his RHOA co-star Peter Thomas.
The cast of RHOA season 9 is still under speculation and is rumored to include Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes. Bravo has yet to make an official announcement about the season 9 premiere date.
As previously reported, Apollo was forced into the prison’s maximum security facility when officials caught him smuggling a secret cell phone, a serious violation. We’re not sure how he posted this pic to his Instagram, but we assume its his response to any drama.
