NeNe Leakes confirmed last night what everyone with eyes already knew.
“Yes, I had my nose done again,” she told Andy Cohen of Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live.”
“It’s only day 13, so I’m very swollen,” explained the 48-year-old “Fashion Police” co-host. “I’m the kind of girl who will give it to you straight – I got my nose done because I can, and I will, and I will get it done again if I want to, okay?”
Leakes previously had her nose done in 2010, along with a liposuction around her waist, smaller breast implants and a breast lift. However she clarified to Cohen and fellow guest Vivica A. Fox that that procedure was not a full rhinoplasty.
“I only had my nostrils taken in on the side the very first time,” she said. “And this time I had more of cartilage moved around in my nose.”
“It was a real medical reason why I had to get it done again. My cartilage was going in my nose and the tip of my nose was touching my lip when I smiled,” she added.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star – who is currently appearing on the panel of ABC’s “To Tell The Truth” reboot – continued that she would never get her nose done “just for the purpose of doing my nose.”
“The last time I did it because I didn’t love my nose and I wanted to do my nose to make it more beautiful for myself,” she explained.
As for the critics who have been calling her out on social media since the procedure, Leakes tells them to check themselves first.
“People are constantly judging and picking people apart,” she says. “It’s absolutely horrible. And people don’t even know what the purpose is. First of all, educate yourself and get the reason why.”
