It took less than 24 hours for Christine Mcmullen Lindgren to get fired from her job as a personal banker at an Atlanta Bank of America after posting a racist rant on Facebook that quickly went viral before it was deleted.
Of course, folks took screenshots.
Lindgren stated in her post that she hated Facebook, because, “you f**king n**gers and yes if [you] can call each other that well I can too f**king n**gers go back to Africa get over your pity party you created this hatred and your own kind that brought your great great grandparents over here and sold them.”
Not only was she raked over the Internet coals in her comment section, but her employer was bombarded with calls, emails and social media posts calling for her immediate removal.
By noon Thursday, Lindgren had deleted her entire Facebook page, but it was too late. Andy Aldridge, a senior vice president and communications manager for the bank confirmed that Lindgren had worked at the branch and that her FB comments were “reprehensible” and “unacceptable.”
“We have investigated the matter and terminated her,” Aldridge went on to say. “She no longer works for Bank of America.”
