In a visit to The View on Tuesday, Toni Braxton opened up about her close friendship with Prince.
“He’s been my big brother for years,” Toni told the ladies. “When I was going through my bankruptcy, he would call me.”
After her second bankruptcy, Prince invited Toni to be the opening act of his tour, but she was unable to accept because she had recently been diagnosed with lupus.
Toni got emotional recalling how Prince’s former musicians got her out of a jam just this past weekend during her show in Brooklyn (where she may or may not have been canoodling with Birdman backstage).
