He was an 18-time All-Star, an 11-time first team All-NBA player, two-time second team and two-time third team player. For fifteen years, Kobe Bean Bryant was considered one of the best 15 players in the league.

The average NBA career length is 4.8 years. Bryant was one of the 15 best players, one of the six best guards, for 15 years. He has led the league in scoring twice, and he ranks third on both the league’s all-time regular season scoring and all-time postseason scoring lists. After beginning his 20th season with the Lakers in 2015–16, he set an NBA record for the most seasons with the same team. That is something to celebrate.

There are a lot of what-ifs with Bryant’s career, all of which make you wonder what if he had stayed with the game even longer. But regardless of what the future holds, this is the last we’ll see of Bryant in the NBA.
