I’m sorry that Nick Cannon who has a voice that young people listen to hasome such a negative message. Young people have to recognize the reason white supremacy can exist in the systemic way it does inot America, the judicial, economic, religious, and societal is because large numbers of oppressed people have been denied the vote. At the local level laws passed juries selected that people of color have no access to because we have been denied the vote. We should be outraged and encouraging young people to fight for the vote. Stand your ground law allowed George Zimmerman to go free, we have to vote to dial back laws that are killing us.

He needs to be standing up and telling people to vote. Just how many minorities, men, women and all people of color may feel about voting, but DAMN IT a lot of people gave their life for you to have this right. By VOTING you are HEARD, and you need to get your asses out and VOTE! Funk Nick and vote.

I love Nick Cannon. In fact I believe one of the reasons Mariah couldn’t deal with him because He was Too Deep. But I digress to the issue at hand. I do feel we need to vote. Regardless of our frustration, being broke is exactly why We Do Need To Vote. Their ar some evils that simply don’t need to be in the white house. However, Nick’s words RING TRUE! We have been burned by everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY! The takeaway from this is to think long and hard about what you do when you do pull that curtain behind you. But, at least go and pull the curtain.

“Nick’s words RING TRUE!” They absolutely do TK. His message about not voting was not a good one, but everything else was “the gospel” and it flowed so well, I was almost proud of this spoken word piece, just not the message, sorry Nick. Glad to see the majority agrees that not voting is detrimental.

I understand he frustrated but he is sending a wrong message. Our selection is slim pickings but you need to select a candidate that best suits you. Show my black people please do not follow his example and not vote.

Okay, I’m feeling Nick on this, he has mad skills right here. If only he used his talents for good. No one is too broke to vote, stop playin’. As already pointed out, people sacrificed their lives for our right to vote, if nothing more do it out of obligation, whatever you have to tell yourself, just do it.
Unfortunately, there’s no turning back, we can’t give back this country to the Natives as Nick suggests, I don’t that will change things for the better, not for us anyway. We have to play this game until one of two things happen…we win or we die.

  6. This is silly. He needs to stand up and vote. I understand this may be how many minorities (women and people of color) feel about voting, but DAMN IT someone gave their life for you to have this right and you need to get your asses out and vote. End of Story.

Although alot of people of color may be BROKE–there is a lot at stake in this years presidential election.

One can only look at dumb Trump’s ugly RACIST supporters to know what will be in store for us if Trump or that POS Cruz are elected president.

I am not particularly in love with either Hillary or Bernie-must must choose the lesser of the two evils.

WE MUST VOTE IN NOVEMBER BECAUSE OUR LIVES AND EXISTENCE IN AMERYKAH DEPENDS UPON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
