Ne-Yo and his wife Crystal Renay welcomed son Prince Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr. on March 16., and at the time, Crystal called it “the scariest delivery ever.” Baby Shaffer marks the third child for Ne-Yo, who has two kids – 5-year-old Madilyn and 4-year-old Mason – with his ex-fiancee, Monyetta Shaw. The R&B singer and Crystal were married on Feb. 20.
“I ended up getting an emergency C-section because of complications but with the help of my amazing doctor @drsherryr and my super calming husband @neyo I was able to get through it all and come out with the best reward in the world … SJ!!! #BestDayOfMyLife,” Crystal wrote after her little bundle of joy’s arrival, ET notes.
Since giving birth, Crystal has been flaunting her post-baby body on social media, and getting her #TurnUp on with friends like actress/model Eva Marcille. For some odd reason, folks are mad about this woman partaking in activities outside breastfeeding and changing dirty nappies. Now, Ne-Yo has had to come out of character to address his wife’s “haters.”
The “Closer” singer is not here for critics of Renay’s decision to get out and party so soon after giving birth, with some even calling her a “thot,” among other offensive comments. Ne-Yo shot back with an Instagram post in which he addressed the “miserable” “haters” who can’t “juggle their baby mamas and baby daddy’s.”
“I don’t tell you how to juggle your baby mama’s or baby daddy’s. I don’t judge the stupid things you’ve done (and in most cases are still doing) with your lives,” Ne-Yo wrote.
Meanwhile, Crystal is also making ‘em mad by showing off her “stretch marks free” post-baby body on Instagram. Renay wants fans to follow her on her fitness journey. She captioned the pic below with the following:
