Bishop TD Jakes‘ latest film, Miracles From Heaven is the true story of a young girl who was healed from an incurable disease in a way that proves to be nothing short of a miracle.

He talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about the recent success of faith-based films, his own personal miracles and what The Potters House has planned for Easter Sunday.

What miracles has he experienced in his life?

“Raising my children is a miracle. Being married 33 years is a miracle. You can’t say you’ve done this by yourself. You had some help.”

On the success of faith-based films in the box office:

“We’reliving in turbulent times. People are looking for something that is uplifting. We’ve got terrorism in a way that we’ve never had to deal with before, politics have gone array. People want to go get off work and see something good.”

Miracles From Heaven, in theaters today, Wednesday, March 16th. Click the link above to hear the entire interview.
