Zendaya has reportedly scored one of the leads in the upcoming “Spider-Man” reboot.
According to Deadline.com’s Mike Fleming Jr., she’s among a number of actresses “who’ve quietly been testing for roles.” The former Disney star will reportedly play a character named Michelle.”
No word if Michelle is the superhero’s love interest. In the comics, Parker was romantically involved with a Mary Jane and a Gwen.
Tom Holland will play Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the reboot, to be directed by Jon Watts and released on July 7, 2017.
