As responses continue to roll in to Beyoncè’s “Formation” video and Super Bowl performance, it appears that at least one person has decided to do something about. An unknown individual has decided to stage a protest outside of NFL headquarters in New York City next week to protest what they called race-baiting and hate speech in Beyoncé’s Super Bowl performance.

Um, have they ever heard of the Bey-hive?

The New York Daily News reports:

“Are you offended as an American that Beyoncé pulled her race-baiting stunt at the Superbowl?” the event description said. “Do you agree that it was a slap in the face to law enforcement?”

The protest is scheduled for Feb. 16 outside the NFL Headquarters, the same day Beyoncé’s “Formation” World Tour tickets go on sale.

The rally’s organizer is calling Beyoncé’s show “hate speech” and “racism” at the Super Bowl because of its references to the Black Panthers and Black Lives Matter.

The protest is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. outside the NFL’s headquarters on Park Ave. on Feb. 16.

The Bey-hater writes, “Be peaceful and respect the boundaries of private property” as a note for the protest.

The organizer behind the event remains unnamed, but there is a contact form at the bottom of the EventBrite page.

The organizers also called The Black Panther Party a hate group – a sentiment that ignores the inclusive history of the group, as well as their murder and harassment by the FBI’s infamous COINTELPRO program.

If this goes off, and we wonder if it will, as someone should alert this poor organizer that the Bey-hive is real and will come hard for their Queen, and if it happens we can expect a Black woman anti-anti protest of epic proportions. I guess they somehow missed the message in the music which was all about Black community and solidarity.

Beyoncé told entertainment reporter Kevin Frazier that her Super Bowl show was meant to make [Black] people feel good about themselves.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani commented on Beyoncé’s performance, saying that “Middle America” shouldn’t be subjected to Beyonce’s activism and anti-police sentiment and expressed his disdain with Super Bowl halftime shows overall.

Welp. Will the Beyoncè protest take off? We’ll have to wait and see.

  1. What is the Klu klux klan if they are not a hate group White man never wants to accept responsibility for anything always everybody else’s fought.

  2. Oh, peter, as for Beyonce lightening her skin, we come in all different hues..comes from being raped and Sodomized by no other than the European demons!! Learn your history!!

  3. Wake up people. Beyonce is throwing this protest herself. This is all her doing. Bet she will be there front and center as its all her doing. Its protest then tour. Is that not obvious.

  4. I’ll be glad when this is over so that her ten minutes of attention are up. She’s simply trying to stir up controversy since she has no spot at Grammy Awards. No one will even miss her.’

  5. So what message was Chris Martin relaying with his rainbow colored sneakers and the rainbow influences throughout the design on the stage! Please stop reading racism into everything people of color do! And to Giuliani, have several seats!

There is a tremendous amount of hypocrisy going on in this country, ( including this BAW site. People are up in arms, knee deep over what they perceive regarding Beyonce’s half time performance. And yet, no one seems to care that Rick Snyder, a man who has poisoned millions of people in Flint Michigan with is water decisions will not even face Congress. Quite frankly, as much as I am a fan of Bey & Jay-Z my problem is a bit different from most in that her performance, while riveting was filled with gyrations and outfits that had a man been leading the song he would have been accused of sexism and degrading women. But, at least Beyonce did have the courage to draw attention to the plight of minorities, and also educate America on the Black Panther movement which as very falsely portrayed by the media in a Nixon controlled environment at that time. What should be more concerning to people are the hateful words of Rudy Guillliani on Fox News ( where else) a man who pimped the Mayor’s mansion by allowing his mistress to sleep in the same house as his wife! if a super bowl half time show is more important to you and America than that, and a governor knowingly poisoning a community to save money, then you have a lot more issues than Beyonce. The selective memory and outrage people have is very revealing. The pretend outrage by so called conservative and conscious Americans is riddled with Hypocrisy. The only thing Guilliani knows about dancing is the way he allowed his police force to dance on the heads of people in NYC during his tenure Beyonce in her own way is shedding light on this issue. If you have a problem with that, then your right! You Do Have A Problem! Rick Snyder probably didn’t even watch the super bowl. He was too busy getting his cut from the dirty deals he has allowed to go on.
Put your anger and disappointment where it belongs and remove the suite of self righteousness, take off the shoes of hypocrisy you are wearing, and your underwear are soiled with the dirt of ignorance. Even with all those clothes on, you are completely naked.

    • Very good point. And Peter King (R) need to shut up and sit down. He is always running his mouth about celebs. I remember the stuff he had about MJ and Peter stupid self did NOT know nothing about MJ’s trial and case and the Democatic Senator from Texas put him in his place.

  8. Are there any white websites for this clown Peter to surf. What are you so concerned about what black people are talking about for. White people have been saying whatever they want to for years. Black men used to get lynched. I really can’t recall any white people being lynched while black people sat out there with picnic baskets and watched. I have a new name for a clown like this “Punks for Trump”

    • I agree and that is what is telling about Peter. If he is so upset on how BAW post articles and what black people are doing, why is he on BAW? There are plenty of issues within the white community (suicide, murder-suicide, child molestation, murder and burying people in the yard or forest, etc, embezzeling money from people and companies) that he can discuss.

      • Hey Ni##er Id rather live in any white neighborhood over a black one anytime. I wouldn’t have to worry about incredible amounts of violent crime. We want you subhumans out of our lives. Why did this dumb Ni##er beyonce lighten her skin? Huh?

  9. WOW alot of noise about Bey’s halftime performance YET the racist bigot liar running for the President can say whatever he wants AND get’s votes/state delegates!!!!

    • I agree. Trump can make the kind of statements he make and get votes YET Ms B can not do a 5 minute halftime to show PRIDE for herself, a group that was about civil rights (Panthers were not going to let racist spit, send dogs, have guns, etc and do nothing. They believe in being armed with a gun just like whites who wanted to harm them for just wanting equal rights). Also, Beyonce paid tribute to MJ. So I do not see what is the problem UNLESS those who are upset is mad that she is making a point.

It makes me laugh at how we as a people seem so insecure about ourselves that we act like the 3 year old who’s mom is on the phone…mommy, mommy, look at me! Black people, we are able to have our own culture, beliefs and whatever else…what bothers me is the push to say white people, white people, look at me! See what I can do? Now recognize me and give me credit. How backwards and stupid. We don’t need validation from outside. The sooner we realize that, the sooner we can work on our own internal racial issues. BTW, if Beyonce’s mission was black pride, wouldn’t it have made sense for her to remove the blond wig???

    • Not really. That hair color is also considered a light alburn. Her skin tone is a warm tone so that does not matter to me. I prefer someone like her who wears that kind of wig and showing pride for who she is with the way she lives, her family, etc than to have her, like some blacks, with a black wig or her natural hair and showing a dislike for who she is (Clarence Thomas).

      • African American Woman on said:

Hi Tammy….I’m disagreeing on that one…it’s hard to scream black pride with some Asian, Brazillian or Indian’s woman’s hair on your head. Not to say that black woman are not the style and fashion mavens we are and I’ll change my hairstyle up in a minute, but I’m not performing in a black pride half show…if she really wanted to make a statement about being pride…lose the wig. What’s wrong with that?

      • She can keep the wig and still show pride (we wear perms. And we do it for syle not to try to be like whites or any other group). Like you said, the wig can come off and the color of that wig is part of her color pattern (warm) so I have no problem with that.

      • African American woman, no different than white women trying to get dark by baking themselves in the oven to get tan or having fat sucked out of their asses to plump up their lips!? Lol

      • African American Woman on said:

True, but you totally ignored the context I made my comment in. If a white woman came out dancing with an afro performing in a “pro-white” performance, we would be up in arms (as we usually are about any and everything); what I said was that it Beyonce wanted to make light of having black pride, take off the Asian, Indian or Brazillian women’s hair.

    • Also, I do agree with first few sentences. This is why I get upset when some want to fuss about the Oscars. So what. Blacks do not need an Oscar to prove their self worth. if we get an oscar, that is fine; but if not, so what. Do not act like you are begging for it. WHat is up next year, give blacks Oscars. Then it will look like we are getting “Pitty Oscars’.

      • dealwith it on said:

I don’t think it’s a blacks wanting an Oscar to prove their self worth it goes to a more broader subject….to be treated with the same respect as other artists. Why do folks refer to movies with a predominately black cast, A black movie? If that concept applies to all movies then how many times have you heard a predominately all white cast movie called, A white movie?

  11. the guest on the view, sad it simple and sweet, but the lady sitting nxt to her was not moved, and their friends..always believe the ones that smile and the ones to watch for, but it gives us HOPE in the black community..BLACK POWER

The Bey-hater writes, “Be peaceful and respect the boundaries of private property” as a note for the protest.
Let me see if I can interpret this statement, Keep your black mouth shut, stay in your place, which is beneath the white race, and only go where invited. Did I get that right?
Oh hold on, we can protest at the NFL headquarters (private property) but you can’t perform at s stadium (private property) at a NFL event? Am I close?

  13. This is once again the ignorance of a few that refuse to open their minds and educate themselves on cultures outside their white world. To view her performance as race baiting is ridiculous.

  14. Why does being pro-black have to be “Anti-Cop” or anti anything for that matter. Sarah Palin got on stage an endorsed a “red-headed white man” for President on national t.v. no one screamed bloody murder. Stop killing us is correct every month there is another African-American dead at the hands of police. We are sick of it. I’m not even a big fan of Beyonce but she does have 1st amendment rights!

Peter’s attitude against black people is the way many whites feel about us. Going back and forth with him will never make a dent in meaningful dialogue between the races.

  16. Arthur Childress on said:

I can only imagine the extreme anguish that Beyoncé must be suffering at the news of this planned protest lol! Perhaps she should have flown the confederate rag in the background during her performance. You know…. the way that no-talent white boy, Kid Rock does!

  17. Everyone has the right to their opinion. It’s part of democracy. Some people will support Beyoncé, and some people will support the protestor(s). That’s the way it works. I can’t help wonder why it is when people make disparaging remarks about Black people it isn’t referred to as race baiting.

    • News flash is a real ethnicity and culture (don’t fall for the bs and learn your true history)….last time I checked, white is just a color.

  18. Just another black racist and her black supremacist gorilla of a husband Pig Z. The black devil wears 5 percenter symbols all the time who feel white are devils yet he gets a pass because of black skin privilege. Let a white person say something slightly off tune and they lose their jobs. These double standards will be reversed.

    • The only racist is you Peter. We know you fear blacks having the right to speak and not taking nonsense no more and you want to use reverse racism (which does not exist) to hide behind your true feelings.

    • Here comes lil Petey out the trailer again to voice his rhetoric. PUBLIC BULLETIN…..People this is what happens when we allow inbreeding in this country…..STOP INBREEDING TODAY…kick a Peter Johnson in the azzzzzzz

      • So true. He wants to talk about blacks and twisting the issues of fighting for injustice compare to being prejudice (not the same) THEN he goes on this rant in calling blacks racial names and using stereotypes to push his agenda YET he think blacks should not do what they are doing in speaking out. This would be like a male Chauvinistic who hate women for talking about women’s right.
