Actor Boris Kodjoe has a reoccurring role on the hit CBS show, Code Black, a heart-pacing series that follows the surgeons at Angeles Memorial Hospital as they try and save lives in one of the busiest cities in the world.
He talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about his new role, dishes on the upcoming season of Real Husbands of Hollywood and his wife Nicole Ari Parker’s steamy love scenes in Rosewood.
“I play Dr. William Campbell, he’s the head of surgery, and he comes in to shake things up. He’s misunderstood. He’s like Kobe Bryant. He’s addicted to excellence so he rides them a little harder than usual. It’s based on this documentary. Code Black means they’re not enough doctors to go around. It happens three times a year in hospitals around the world, but it happens 300 times a year in Los Angeles,” he said.
Code Black airs on Wednesday’s at 9pm CST.
