Donovan McNabb surrendered his freedom in Arizona on Monday to begin serving an 18-day sentence on a DUI.

The former NFL quarterback was arrested on June 28 after crashing into a car that was stopped at a red light. Police said his blood alcohol was more than twice the legal limit.

It was his second DUI conviction in two years.

McNabb, a.k.a. inmate #T231133, won’t have to spend the entire 18 days locked up. According to TMZ, the judge granted him “work release” which means he can leave the facility to work during the day, but must return at night to sleep in a cell.
