BET News correspondent and host of the 20/20 Leaders of America forum Jeff Johnson will host a forum where some of the 2016 presidential hopefuls will respond to questions about issues of justice that continue to plague our nation.

Dr. Ben Carson, Martin O’Malley, and Senator Bernie Sanders will engage the audience beginning at 1:00PM ET and the event will be streamed LIVE on Jeff talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about how important it is to get both parties in one room and the role social media will play.

“You’ve got this group, which is both Republican and Democratic elected. Really young people got together to ask how can we make this conversation happen. This is an opportunity to engage those Pres that are coming, to engage in real conversation. I’m going to be asking them questions. Then we’re also going to be taking questions from Facebook as well,” he said.

How important social media will be in the debate:

“Social media is going to be raw. People are going to want to know are there people you would pardon. What would you do around mass incarceration. Social media is where the most honest discussions are going to take place.”

  1. I am glad I did not miss the forum!
White listening, I was not sure if it was earlier today so I thought I missed it. I did a search and learned that it is tomorrow; live stream only.
I am looking forward to hearing Sanders! Perhaps enough Blacks will listen and learn what Senator Sanders has been talking about for at least 15 years.
