Beyonce’s daddy is in deep to Uncle Sam.
Mathew Knowles owes the IRS $220,000 in back taxes, according to TMZ. The unpaid amount is from 2013.
It’s not the first time Mr. Knowles, 63, has been caught ducking Tax Day. In fact, he’s owed a total of $1.4 million to the government.
Of late, folks are accusing Knowles of cashing in on Beyonce’s name by peddling his seven-hour seminar about getting into the music industry, aptly titled “The Entertainment Industry: How Do I Get In?”
“Let me tell you what it’s not — that I’m trying to cash out on Beyoncé,” he said at the time. “Nothing to do with that.”
