Sheree Whitfield has signed on to star in the new WE tv reality series “Selling It: In the ATL,” which is an extension of the hit freshman series “Cutting It: In the ATL.” The series reached 4.5 million total viewers and ranked as a top five new unscripted summer series among women 25-54, Rolling Out reports.
She confirmed the news on Instagram.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum and Carlos King will executive produce the new program, which will kick off with six, one-hour episodes beginning on Nov. 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
“Atlanta is a flourishing city, rich with diverse personalities and compelling stories for WE tv to showcase,” said Marc Juris, WE tv’s president. “So many of our originals including Cutting It, Braxton Family Values and Mary Mary have ties to the Atlanta community, which has helped us cultivate a loyal audience in the market. Selling It is a great addition to our slate and helps further our commitment to stories about all kinds of relationships — in this case a group of friends and frenemies set against the high-pressure work environment of real estate.”
“Selling It: In the ATL” will follow seven diverse female professionals who are changing the face of the male-dominated real estate industry by closing major deals in the booming Atlanta housing economy.
Of course, it remains to be seen what exactly Sheree knows about real estate. You may recall, her housing situation always seemed sketchy on RHOA. When Sheree left the show, she was struggling to finish up Chateau Sheree. Some fans and bloggers have been keeping up with her progress, and the house is still not complete. It’s questionable when the house will be livable. Perhaps it will be featured on her new series?
Meanwhile, there are also rumors that she owes upwards of $40,000 in back taxes, and many claim it has something to do with her unfinished home.
